Freaky 23 at the Fuck Parade. Unfuck the system – Be the revolution!
It had been a late one the night before taking delivery of the truck and making preparations in a full on thunderstorm. Then an early morning start for the sound and decor crew, preparing the truck for the long day ahead. Before the road-trip could get going there were police safety checks – the trucks all low on their suspensions, fully loaded with bins. The parade started just after 13:00 with a few short speeches. Mark Angelo represented Freaky 23 and spoke about the importance of imagination and creative thinking in a world that needs to change. Then the music kicked in and the street party started, with banging sets from: Ixindamix (live), DJ Controlled Weirdness, 69DB (live), Jeff23 and to finish off the 9 hour marathon of music, Racket Alert (live).
